Pillow Talk

A great way to add texture and color to a living room is by adding a pillow or two or three or four. Throw a couple on the couch or love seat or toss a big one on the floor for the kids. There is a style to match any décor and if you cannot find just the right one, you can make one of your own. Pillows come in an abundance of colors, shapes, textures, and sizes. They can make a statement or they can blend in to add comfort and style to your living room.

Try a neck roll shaped pillow for each end of your couch and you can rest easily on it when you want to take a nap. It fits right it. Place a big square, colorful pillow on the floor so the kids or extra guests can sit, be off the floor and be comfortable during movie night. Pretty round ones are good to emphasize a certain color you like or add something special and different to the room. They will say that you are unique and proper. Square pillows are good for conservative, traditional rooms. The traditional corners allow you to tuck them in anywhere that suits you.

You might want to grab a body pillow for your favorite chair so you can cuddle up with it while watching T.V. and you can share it on the couch or the floor against the wall. Pillows are an inexpensive, fun way to dress up your living room. Or you can add a level of comfort and hominess by adding pillows. They can also provide a place to relax and take it easy. Whatever color, size, style, texture or shape you want, you can bet you can find a pillow to suit you. Another great reason for pillows is that you can change them easily with the seasons or when you just get tired of them.
